Saw palmetto works. I am a pretty young guy (age 26) with moderate prostate problems. My doctor put me on Flowmax for a while but I had to go off it because of the horrible side effects. I recently tried saw palmetto after I researched it online. It took four or five days to take effect, but after that I was amazed. For me, it works better than Flowmax with no side effects. For anyone else who is considering medication for prostate problems, do yourself a favor and try saw palmetto before you start taking a Rx.
